Safer Movements Collective

The Safer Movements Collective (SMC) is a survivor-led, non-hierarchical organization that promotes shared leadership, collective decision-making, and collective responsibility for community safety.

The Accountable Futures Fund (2021) supported their political education to expand their analysis of their experiences, centering their work around their own healing and wellness, and working to distill their lessons to create resources to support their organizing communities in better attending to the needs of trans and queer people of color who are survivors of abuse, disabled, caregivers, sex workers, and/or young people.

The Accountable Futures Fund (2022-2026) is providing a multi-year grant for general operating support.
