Gender Bash is back! Join us for We Bloom at Night on November 2nd!

To be real with you, we wish we didn’t have to always be called resilient – to be in a constant state of reeling and recovering from the relentless attacks on our communities, and to plan this fight for the long haul. We know too well that we must anticipate and prepare for what the new year will bring, but for now, we choose to lean into our joy, and celebrate the blooms that come at night.

That’s why we’re inviting you to join us for the virtual return of our annual fundraiser Gender Bash on Thursday, November 2 at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT. Come bloom with the whole Third Wave Fund team as we celebrate our wins, thank our outgoing leadership, and revel in a space of love, beauty, and nighttime wonder to fill us up with loving community.

This year, we will honor our fierce Advisory Council Co-Chair Adjoa Sankofia Tetteh, as she completes her final year of service with us (that’s six years of showing up for gender justice movements AND the Third Wave Fund team). We’ll also be blessed with a performance by Jay-Marie is Holy, and will be welcoming Daroneshia Duncan-Boyd of TAKE Birmingham as a speaker. The evening will be rounded out with a requisite dance party DJ’d by our very own resident DJ :chicklet:.

We Bloom at Night will be a free event – we are grateful for donations, and if you or your company would like to join our growing list of sponsors (starting at $500!), you can email our event consultant Charice Starr at charice@thirdwavefund.org to learn more. We will provide captioning as well as ASL and Spanish interpretation - please register by October 19 to share any other access needs.

For folks who want to fully opt into the party aesthetic, come dressed in your celestial gold and sparkles, or embody your best moody adult goth vibes.

Not sure you can make it? You can still help out by liking, saving, and sharing our posts on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. And, to make sure we can keep resourcing the work for another 25 years to come, consider becoming a monthly donor and asking your friends to join you!Looking forward to blooming with you
