Carolina Youth Action Project

The Carolina Youth Action Project is an abolitionist organization that centers political education and community organizing to build power among girls, trans youth, and gender nonconforming youth ages 14-18.

The Accountable Futures Fund (2021) supported their Safer Schools Without SROs campaign, which demands the removal of all SROs in Charleston County schools and in every public school across South Carolina, and that all SRO-related funding be redirected to student and teacher supports.
