Frontera Fund is an abortion fund serving the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) in South Texas on the US-Mexico border. They provide funds for abortion procedures and practical support for people in the RGV seeking abortions or who are traveling to the RGV for abortion care, with recognition that people on both sides of the US-Mexico border face unique and severe barriers to abortion access.
The Mobilize Power Fund (August 2021) supported transportation and practical support for folks seeking abortion as a stopgap measure until the legal battle to challenge a recent Texas abortion ban was resolved.
