G.L.I.T.S.

Gays and Lesbians Living in a Transgender Society (G.L.I.T.S.) mobilizes trans sex workers of color to resist anti-sex worker criminalization and marginalization. G.L.I.T.S. uses an intergenerational mentorship model focused on developing the individual and collective activist and leadership skills of trans youth and elders.

The Sex Worker Giving Circle (2018-2019) provided a two-year grant to support their in-person outreach and support efforts, including an ongoing program working with trans and queer women on Rikers, as well as participation in organizing at the U.N. as a part of the Commission on the Status of Women.
