Free Alabama Movement & A Luta Sigue

The Mobilize Power Fund supported a partnership between the Free Alabama Movement and A Luta Sigue. The Free Alabama Movement (FAM) is an organization of incarcerated people in Alabama prisons fighting a corrupt and remarkably anti-Black and anti-trans system of mass incarceration, youth criminalization, prison slavery, and deadly sexual, physical, and psychological abuse. A Luta Sigue is a movement incubator dedicated to supporting the creation and development of autonomous power-building projects and campaigns led by working-class leaders and youth in Tennessee.
