Ciné (they/them/theirs) is a Black American & Haitian, and South FL-native who proudly serves as the Reproductive Justice Organizer for Florida Access Network. Ciné is a recent graduate of UCF, earning their B.A. in Political Science and double minor in Sociology and Women and Gender Studies. As a former fellow of the Barb Schmidt Fellowship of Florida Atlantic University and Co-Director of The Safe Sex Project, they have always had a deep-rooted passion for community organizing, mutual aid, and restorative justice. As a trans and queer person in the South, they are informed, and deeply inspired, by the frameworks of Black Queer Feminism and Reproductive Justice in order to liberate ALL people. They currently serve on the steering committee for the Floridians for Reproductive Freedom, and is a cohort member of the NNAF Movement Makers.
